| "Lolita Files" is my real name. It is not a pen name, as incredible as that may seem. There are plenty of Files family members and people who have known me for years capable of validating this. As for the "Lolita" part, my mother named me after the movie based on Nabokov's book, although she saw or read neither. For as long as she lived, she had no idea there was anything sexual or seedy about being called "Lolita". |

I guess folks would rather see prehistoric furry animals than a prehistoric furry snatch an actress in a played-out role. And who can blame them?

wow...i never saw the first "ice age". i think i'll get a dvd of the first, then hit the theatres for the "ice age 2".

$70.5 million is simply astonishing. Those are major blockbuster figures. I had no idea Ice Age fell into that category.

Yeah, the multiplex near my house was sold out way past the time the kids were in bed so it was every body going to see that. And the kids will see it multiple times.
I must say the guerilla marketing for this film has been a home run. The promos were like mini-movies and have been on screen for a while now. It paid off.
As far as the Flinstone booty, I kinda sorta maybe wanted to see Basic Instinct as the preimse looked interesting but I guess I was one of the few who did.
