| "Lolita Files" is my real name. It is not a pen name, as incredible as that may seem. There are plenty of Files family members and people who have known me for years capable of validating this. As for the "Lolita" part, my mother named me after the movie based on Nabokov's book, although she saw or read neither. For as long as she lived, she had no idea there was anything sexual or seedy about being called "Lolita". |

 My school...that's right, MY alma mater---the University of Florida---has emerged victorious in The Final Four...
 ...plowing over the juggernaut that is typically UCLA.

i think the gators are the first to have conquered all the major collegiate athletic championships now. football, baseball and now basketball.

There's something about the water in states like Florida and North Carolina. We grow killer teams that kick ass consistently (think Florida, Florida State, University of Miami). Year after year, robust powerhouse teams and future superstars come out of those teams. My years at Florida were fabulous, and some magnificent players were there when I was---guys who went on to become professional champions. So I'm extra proud to see Florida bring it. I'm a gator through and through. I learned what I was made of when I was there.

Yup!! You learned that the second you get there. I think I was told about it in freshman orientation.
